Happy Birthday lil Sis!

As I mentioned in my last post I have been working on developing certain skills, my latest endeavor was baking a cake for my sister Alesha's 21st birthday. I must confess I did not make the cake from scratch, but I am working my way up to that.  I need to give my good friend Colleen credit for introducing me to rainbow cake. She found a blog that demonstrates the how to, step by step. It was a fun adventure and of course I took some pictures to document.

    Awwweee! I'm glad your rainbow cake turned out so well! It looks like Alesha LOVED it! and you can't help but smile when you see it, because of the beautiful colours!

    miss you guys! your blog is helping me through my tough times right now.. so I know I can read this and smile :)
