Life away from home...

Hi there! I have not ever really been very outgoing person, so I decided to start a blog as a way to express myself, to open up and to share. I am by no means a great writer (so bear with me) I just wanted to be more in touch with my creative side and I felt I could do so, through blogging. Because I am a fan of photography and enjoy taking pictures, that I will frequently share on this blog, I thought it would be a good way for friends and family to see how my life is across the country. In my description about me, you will see that my husband and I are Ohio born and raised, we recently moved out to Los Angeles, CA to pursue better opportunities for work and growth, for my husband.  He is an extremely dedicated and passionate editor/director of film, so LA is the place to be! But with a three hour time difference and busy schedules it can become hectic to keep in touch as much as we would like to with our loved ones back home. So why not blog? So like I said, I am new at this, but I am excited to learn and share!

So here is a little of my life in Los Angeles, told in pictures (don't say I didn't warn you).

My dog Turbo, he had to have emergency surgery earlier this week (hence the cone of shame) for an infected glad. He is doing much much better, but he is slightly upset at me for waking him up, to take this picture.

So for those who recently visited, we painted!! As a lot of people know orange is DJ's favorite color. We painted one living room wall solid orange, that wall is also part of our dining room, and DJ came up with this idea to make a transition of color. Cool, right? Well, we like it anyway. We will have a table, one day haha, one thing at a time!
